Just Vlog it Entry for May

I haven't got words for this vlog I am afraid. This hurt a lot more to do than I think I should admit in an open forum.

The Yummy Mummy with No Tummy Challenge - Week Twenty-Five

Last week in the comments I was challenged by Michelle at Mummy from the Heart to drink a glass of water before every meal. I did this and I found that it helped a lot... not with not eating as much, but with my headaches! I am normally really good with drinking water and drink several glasses a day, but nothing near as much as I use to drink when I worked in an office. This week I found that I was drinking more at the level I use to drink at and my headaches were gone! I have modified my routine again so that I am now drinking three bottles of water during the day and a further bottle in an evening.

I would just like to add that yes, I do drink more than the UK government recommendation of 1.2litres of water a day but this isn't something I would recommend to people unless they check with their Doctor like I did!

Weight wise this week I haven't put anything on and I haven't lost anything. Staying the same weight is annoying, but I would rather that than having put on a lb or two.

This week I am going to carry on drinking a glass of water before each meal, continue eating healthy snacks AND try to fit in an extra thirty minute walk everyday.

The Yummy Mummy with No Tummy Challenge - Week Twenty-Four

I remember when I first read the Men are from Mars, Women are from Venus (Thats right guys you get the planet with the scary monsters). If you haven't read the book then the main thing that I remember from it is that one of the big differences between the sexes is the way they tackle problems.

Men will see an problem and will start to fix it, however they think is best. This however is different to how Women react. When a problem is brought up Women will think about it and will listen and will then offer a few words if they think it is appropriate.

I know that I keep saying this, but this is my problem. I need to tackle my weight problem like a man. Rather than looking at it and saying a few appropriate words I need to kick my butt into gear and deal with the problem head on.

I know that I need to exercise more, but I don't.

I know that I need to eat better and drink more water, but I don't.

I know that I need to be firm with myself, but I'm not.

I'm never going to lose all this weight unless I take drastic action.

The Yummy Mummy with No Tummy Challenge - Week Twenty-Three

I've been thinking this week. Its a dangerous habit, but one I haven't ever been able to kick. I think that if I could I would live inside me head, but I know that it is selfish and dangerous so I won't try it (for extended periods of time anyway).

I have been thinking about what stops me from doing what I want to do, what I need to do in order to lose weight. And the answer didn't surprise me at all.

You see it isn't that I don't want to or that I can't. It's not that I don't have the time or even the tools. It's not that I am lazy (although I am sure that I am!). Its the same problem that causes me to want to follow the Flylady system for keeping my home clean.

My internal voice says to me "If it isn't going to be prefect then why even bother?" and that internal voice isn't the Still Small Voice that tells me that I am loved by a Heavenly Father... this one is a mean internal voice.

When I realised this it all suddenly became clear. I knew what it is that I have to do. I know now that I was setting myself up to fail by attempting so much. Its not like I didn't know to set small goals, but for some reason it hadn't registered until yesterday.

I have set up an alarm on my IPod Touch that at 12:30 when Baby Boy has a sleep I have a two 15 minutes periods of exercise. Thats it. If I walk to town in the week or do more than my 30 minutes total each day then that is fine.

So maybe next week I will lose more than the 1lb that I lost this week!

The Yummy Mummy With No Tummy Challenge - Week Twenty

The thing that annoys me about the Yummy Mummy with No Tummy Challenge is that I report it on a Monday. For me the start of a week is Sunday. Sunday is the day I renew myself and my resolve for the week ahead. It is the day that I am changing my diet reporting to!

So this week saw New Year, Top Enders Birthday and the last few treats of the Holiday Season for me. I have had my fill of Chocolate (and fizzy drinks too if I am honest, although don't tell Daddy because we have a case of Irn Bru under the stairs and a couple of bottles of Old Fashioned Lemonade and a further bottle of Pink Lemonade) and the scales have reflected it... I have put on 4lbs!

To be honest I think a lot of this was actually over the whole season and my loss of 1lb last week was down to a sheer fluke.

So the first resolution that I made this year was to lose 104lbs over the course of the year. 104lbs works out as 2lbs a week. 2lbs a week is something that I should be able to do easily, IF I stick to the plan!

Exercise this week is going to be changed slightly as Top Ender doesn't go back to school until Tuesday. My plan for the week is to go for four one hour walks (I say walk but really they are more of a march and I tend to cover just over three miles, but I am pushing the pram!) and to use the Wii games I have to get my heart rate up for twenty to thirty minutes on at least three separate occasions!

So to the forth coming year and to this week I say "Bring it on" and "I am Ready!"

The Yummy Mummy With No Tummy Challenge - Week Nineteen

The scales are the one thing in my life that tell me the truth week in and week out. I trust them, I understand them. I know that they want what is best for me. I know that even if I look like I have lost weight, but I haven't that they won't tell me that I have.

I know that my scales won't look at old photos of me from the last few years and tell me that I look like I have lost a lot of weight (Thank you though Daddy it was very kind of you) even though I don't think that I have.

So when I got on the scales this morning and saw that my weight had increased by 1lb from last week I was happy. My scales are telling me that despite all the indulgences of the past week my plan to try to keep on track and to try to exercise as much possible is actually working. I worked out my calorie in-take and I know that without my conscious efforts to exercise more that I should of put on a lot more than 1lb.

And so I look forward to next year knowing that I can lose weight, keep it off and enjoy myself doing it!

The Yummy Mummy With No Tummy Challenge - Week Eighteen

And so the week before Christmas has started and already I have seen enough food and chocolate (two seperate food groups) to last me all week. When we did the Christmas Grocery shop at the weekend we decided that it would be a proper treat week with some of out favourite foods being added to the trolley... Smoked Salmon, Prawns, nuts, fruit and Pringles!

Obviously this isn't going to all be eaten in one week, but I have a feeling that I shan't be losing any weight next week and thats with me saying very loudly and very clearly that I am on a diet!

Anyway to this week and the scales see a lost of 1lb which leaves me a happy bunny!

The Yummy Mummy with no tummy Challenge - Week Seventeen

When I woke up this morning I didn't want to write this post as I was sure that I wouldn't of lost any weight and I feel guilty week after week posting about weight loss when in reality it is such a small amount that I have managed to lose. However it seems that I have been quite good this past week, my food diary has shown a couple of slip ups but has also shown a lot of healthy choices being made and so I am happy that I did at least try!

So the Scales have shown my weight loss this week as a 1lb and 8 oz (which I thought was quite good as I did eat chocolate this week) and I hope to repeat this again this week!

The Yummy Mummy with no tummy Challenge - Week Sixteen

The Yummy Mummy with No Tummy Challenge Logo

The cabbage soup diet last week enabled me to lose 4lbs, now I know most of that was water, but it is the confidence boost I needed! And with Christmas just around the corner and so many fun things to do between now and New Year, I know that my diet is going to go to pot!

As I have mentioned before Christmas is all about the turkey and with so many celebrations based around food all I can hope to do is try to stay strong enough not to consume too much food and fizzy drink and make as many good choices as I possibly can. With this is mind here are my Five Top Tips for staying successful on a diet over the Christmas period

1. Decide that you ARE going to stay on your diet whilst celebrating. Sometimes just giving yourself permission not to eat all the food over the Season is enough to make you realise that you don't have to consume to celebrate! If you decide that you have to eat Great Aunt Enid's trifle or it won't be Christmas then understand that you will have to go for a really really long walk to burn it off.

2. Don't go to Christmas parties hungry. If you have a friends or office Christmas party to go to, make sure you eat first. It doesn't need to be anything huge, but something that will stop you snacking on all the calorific finger food. And if you have a host that insists that you try one of everything then just smile politely and tell them that you are sure they taste wonderful, but that you are on a diet so that you can look as wonderful as them in the beautiful dress they are wearing.

3. Mix your drinks, yup that's right forget what you were told about never mixing your drinks I am here to tell you that it is okay. As long as the mixing is one glass of alcohol or fizzy drink and the next glass is water or a fruit juice. Try to limit yourself to just a couple of glasses of your drink of choice as this will stop the calories being poured into you and could stop some embarrassing photos being shown in the New Year!

4. Take in the special Christmas atmosphere, take a walk around your local neighbour hood to look at the Christmas lights, or to see the Town tree, go ice skating, or carol singing anything that stops you from sitting inside. Yes I know that it might be raining and that it is cold at this time of year, but wrap the kids up well and get out it will do you all some good and get some sneaky exercise in too! If it is pouring with rain then maybe get on the Wii, or play a game of Twister, or Sardines, or 30 seconds hide and seek, or Simon Says or... get the idea?

5. And finally don't worry if you do over indulge. You made one mistake so what?! You don't have to repeat it, you can jump back into diet mode now that you have realised!

The Yummy Mummy with no tummy Challenge - Week Fifteen

The Yummy Mummy with No Tummy Challenge Logo

This week on the Yummy Mummy with No Tummy Challenge, I have done well... despite eating a lot of junk food this past week as Daddy hasn't been around.

My weight has dropped by a further 1lb, but it isn't enough in my opinion and so I'm being silly this coming week and following a diet that if it were a Twitter user would probably be one of those Britney Bots providing lavish attention to the auparishtaka she is performing. Low IQ and plenty of hot air.

I am on the Cabbage Soup diet, but my healthier version of it! I am hoping that if I follow it for a week (I followed it in the 90's once or twice) that it will help me lose a bit more weight before Christmas. Yes I know that it will probably be just water, but it is the increased confidence in myself that the weight loss will bring that I am really after.

I hope that this week will see me losing around 7-10lbs and with the exercise plan staying the same (an hours walk everyday, 30 minutes following my online plan, the wii game work out for 20 minutes everyday and 10 minutes of weights) maybe even more.

I will just point out that I know this is silly and if I weren't as overweight as I am and needing something drastic I wouldn't even consider it, but at this point I need to take some drastic measures.

The Yummy Mummy with no tummy Challenge - Week Fourteen

The Yummy Mummy with No Tummy Challenge Logo
I cheated and last night I stood on the scales... a whole eight hours ahead of when I should of. I was deflated when I saw that I weighed 1lb more than last week. I then thought well I need to pee and I guess my dinner could still be being digested... and so I thought I would wait until this morning to check my weight. Turns out I was right to question my early weigh in, as I had actually lost 1lb... they do the weigh in at the same time every week on The Biggest Loser for a reason you know!

This week I am eating fairly normally again, although I am trying to keep the calories to between 800 and 1000 calories a day. My exercise plan is going to be taken back up to an hours walk everyday, 30 minutes following my online plan, the wii game work out for 20 minutes everyday, 10 minutes of weights and a lot of heavy lifting with the garage continuing to be sorted out!

The Yummy Mummy with no tummy Challenge - Week Thirteen

The Yummy Mummy with No Tummy challenge logo
I have stood on the scales three times this morning. Each time I got a different weight. The first two times either meant I had lost 15 stone in a week (I know I haven't) or put on a stone (knowing my luck that could be true!). It was after the second time I decided to change the batteries.

The third time I stood on the scales they showed a 3lb weight loss (Hooray!) and so I can lose weight, my body doesn't hate me, it is just that it needed reminding that food is an energy source!

This week is going to see me eating 1000 calories a day again with a menu plan that is not yet decided on for me but will include plenty of vegetables and fish and slim fast for breakfast. My exercise this week is going to be a walk everyday, ten minutes of weights every other day, my wii game three times this week for 30 minutes and as I am trying to clean out the garage a lot of heavy lifting!

My plan is that I will lose 3lbs again this week, but who knows?!

The Yummy Mummy with no tummy Challenge - Week Twelve

Yummy Mummy with No Tummy Logo

This week sees me start my minimum calorie intake (as opposed to a normal amount for losing around 1lb a week) which should, if everything was okay in my body see me losing around 2-3lbs a week. Seeing as I have not lost any weight this week this will be the tell tale sign if things are wrong or right with the way my body has been re-programmed!

The meal plan for this week has yet to be fully sorted out, but I will be eating around 800 calories a day. This has been agreed with the Doctor as something that I am allowed to do, but he has warned me that it might have the opposite effect after I go back to eating a "normal" amount after the first two weeks.

Me with a daisy chain, three months after Top Ender was born

My exercise plan is going to remain the same for this period, but again I have been warned that this might not be do-able after the first couple of days!

Monday through Saturday: 30 minute walk, ten minutes of weights, and 20 minutes following my online plan each day.
Sunday: Two hour walk, ten minutes of weights and plenty of family fun!

And if you want to join in then its not too late, you don't have to be a Mummy to a young child, you can be a Mummy to a fur baby (Dogs and cats to those not in the know!) a wannabe yummy with no tummy, or someone that just wants to think about what they eat and how they exercise! Please leave a URL link to your post in the comments below and I will update this post with your URL and you will automatically be listed next week.

The Yummy Mummy with no tummy Challenge - Week Eleven

The Yummy Mummy with No Tummy Challenge Logo
My Body is a Temple. I ought to fill it with fruit and vegetables and the occasional meat offering, but somewhere down the line I went off the recommended diet and started filling my Temple with junk food and turned my Temple into ruins.

Mummy in front of a Greek ruin
Like what I did there?

The problem with me is I get distracted. Ooh, Daddy has just come home with a Tesco bag - must see what he has bought. Back in 5.

See? Like I said distracted.

Combine this with my love of multi-tasking (I am currently watching House whilst typing this, as it is really 21:15 on Sunday) and you have why, in my opinion, I can't lose weight.

I start one task and before I can finish it I have moved on to another, either by mistake or by my own design. I think know this is also the reason as to why my house isn't as clutter free and clean as I wish it was!
Having this blog as a form of accountability has helped a lot, because I know that I have plans for dinner each night and I know that if I don't lose weight then you are all going to know about it!
So I weigh 19 stone and 3lbs today and by the end of this week I won't!

Meal Plan

Breakfast: Meal Replacement Drink (Slimfast to you and me!)
Lunch: Sandwich or Meal Replacement Drink

Monday: Roast Turkey and Vegetables
Tuesday: Bubble and Squeak with Mash
Wednesday: Pasta frittata
Thursday: Turkey Pie with cubed roasted potatoes
Friday: Pizza
Saturday: Creamy Fish Lasagna
Sunday: Steak and Mushrooms

Exercise Plan

Monday through Saturday: 30 minute walk, ten minutes of weights, and 20 minutes following my online plan each day.
Sunday: Two hour walk, ten minutes of weights and plenty of family fun!

Losing weight or losing my mind?

For the last couple of weeks I haven't been posting on a Monday, because I should be posting about my diet and the Yummy Mummy with No Tummy Challenge, but things are getting a little bad round here and I think I am going a little crazy!

You see I have been being as good as I can, and exercising and refusing to eat junk and I haven't lost any weight and I am starting to get very disappointed. It got so bad last week that I resorted to comfort eating, which is the reason I put on weight and this is why I started the challenge in the first place!

I have given myself a couple of weeks off, to eat as I want, exercise as I want and just recharge myself. This is the last week of that, as soon as Half term is over I will start being strict with myself again.

I think that it is actually important to do this, I feel that I will get a better result when I return to the diet with a new energy and I think that the cabin fever will of gone too by then!

So have fun this week everyone and I will see you next Monday!

Monday, 5 October 2009

11 weeks to christmas, so I could lose 22lbs...

If I lose 2lbs a week for the next eleven weeks, I could be a stone and a half lighter just in time for Christmas. I know this will be tough, but I think that it is a good focus point for me, as it is close enough to not discourage me, but far enough away that I will work at it.

This will of course throw everything in to chaos as my Christmas outfit won't fit.. unless I buy something new that is a little too small. The problem then is that I wouldn't want to eat much over the run up to the Christmas period as I would be worried about putting on weight and my outfit not fitting... what is a girl to do?

I think that I will go with an outfit at the last minute that fits. That way if I do lose an extra lb or two then it won't matter as it will still look okay!

With my impacted wisdom tooth having been taken out last week I am not eating properly as the stitches are causing me worry (yucky!) and the bruising on my jaw is terrible! This has caused a beneficial side effect that I am sure wasn't in the recovery fact sheet.

I am eating less.

Not only am I eating less, but I am having to make sure that the nutrients that I need are in the foods that I can eat. I am using Meal Replacement drinks, which I used in the past and had good success with, and I feel that I am having success this time too. I am a walking milkshake at the moment!

Tin of SlimfastI am probably going to carry on my "enforced" diet for a little longer than strictly needed to get the most benefit of this. I was told the stitches would dissolve within two weeks, but I should be able to eat properly after a week. I will keep to the mostly liquid/soft foods diet for the two weeks of stitches and a further week after that to let my stomach shrink.

So with my weight this week standing at 19 stone my plans for this week are;

Meal Plan

Breakfast: Meal Replacement Drink (Slimfast to you and me!)
Lunch: Meal Replacement Drink
Monday: Cheesy Beans and Mash
Tuesday: Soup and Dipping Wholemeal Bread
Wednesday: Beef Casserole (it will be all tender so I won't need to chew much!)
Friday: Pizza (hopefully my jaw will be better, if not Pasta!)
Saturday: Soup and Dipping Wholemeal Bread
Sunday: Soup and Dipping Wholemeal Bread
Snacks this week will be yogurt or mashed fruits (my jaw really hurts!)
Exercise Plan
Monday through Saturday: 30 minute walk, ten minutes of weights, and 20 minutes following my online plan each day.
Sunday: Two hour walk, ten minutes of weights and plenty of family fun!

The Doctor is my friend

On Thursday I went to see my Doctor.
Hugh Laurrie as Dr Greg House

I can wish can't I?

Nobody knew that I was going, I didn't tweet, I didn't status update on Facebook and I only told Daddy because he had to drop me off there (I had the car that morning and he needed it earlier than expected or I wouldn't of told him at all!). When I walked into see him I launched straight into my rehearsed speech;

"I'm overweight. I know I am overweight and for the past six weeks I have been making a really concerted effort to lose weight. The problem is that in those six weeks I have lost six pounds (two kilograms) and this week looks as if I have put them all back on."

The Doctor looked at me and I could see that he was trying to get the measure of me, was I being serious about weight loss or was I just saying I was because I wanted a short term fix? He asked me to jump on the scales (I had put on 2lbs, but I was also dressed that counts for something right?) and then started quizzing me on what I ate and what I did exercise wise.

I pulled out my food diary and my exercise diary and was able to answer all his questions. He looked genuinely surprised that I was taking this serious.

"Well six weeks is actually a very short amount of time as you aren't really on a diet, you are learning to eat more healthily. I also think that you might of in the past learnt not to listen when your body tells you that you are full." he said
"Yes, I was aware of that, which is why I have been checking portion sizes" I said
"There is one other thing that I would point out, you are still taking in too many calories." he said
"I was told that if you were a larger size that you needed more calories" I said
"No! That is not true at all. Lets cut you down to 1500 a day. And if in six weeks you still aren't losing weight then you can cut it down by a another 100 or 200 for a couple of weeks."
"Okay" I said
"Nothing too drastic or you'll be in serious trouble" he said
"I promise" I said
"You have the exercise part exactly right, keep going as you are" he said
"Okay" I said feeling very pleased I had one bit right

He said that he could offer me Xenical (orlistat) or Reductil (sibutramine), when I came back in three or four months time and a further three to four months after that if I still was having trouble losing weight that bariatric surgery would be the only answer.

"I don't want to have gastric banding or a gastric bypass" I said to a surprised looking Doctor
"Gastric Banding isn't that drastic an option and sometimes it is the only choice" he said
"I know, it just isn't for me." I reiterated

So with further advice about some tweaks to my diet to make it a low GI Diet I was sent off to return at the start of next year.

So my plans for this week are;

Meal Plan

Breakfast: Bowl of Bran Flakes with semi-skimmed Milk and a slice of toast with marmalade and a small glass of Orange juice.

Lunch: Sandwich with fruit or left overs from the night before.

Monday: Spicy Turkey and Long Grain rice with Broccoli, onions and Red Peppers
Tuesday: Its my anniversary so I don't know what it is as Daddy is cooking!
Wednesday: Lasagna (smuggled veggies!)
Thursday: Left over Lasagna (as it always tastes better on the second day!)
Friday: Pizza
Saturday: I am having my wisdom teeth out so Meal replacement drinks!
Sunday: Depending on my mouth meal replacement drinks or Chicken Kebabs and rice

Snacks this week will be sliced apples, peppers and onion salad and mixed bean salad as these are both good low GI foods!

Exercise Plan

Monday through Friday: 30 minute walk, ten minutes of weights, 15 minutes of dancing and 30 minutes exercise following the wii game and 20 minutes following my online plan each day.
Saturday and Sunday: Two hour walk, ten minutes of weights and plenty of family fun each day!

I want to wear pretty clothes

Its been one of those weeks where I stuck pretty much to the diet and exercise plans, (but did have some extra calories on an evening in with Top Ender, that I know I didn't burn off before another evening in with Daddy), and learnt an awful lot about myself.

It all started on Saturday morning when Daddy and I took Top Ender and Baby Boy for breakfast at Ikea, before our scheduled trip to the Supermarket for the weekly groceries.

Whilst we were waiting to pay Baby Boy decided to spill his purple juice drink all over my white top. I didn't bother over this as I have had plenty worse on my clothes from Baby Boy or Top Ender in the past. Daddy however seemed to be more upset it and about my choice not to go home to change before going shopping.

The resulting conversation (read heated exchange in muted tones as we were out in public) revealed more than I thought it would due to two sentences that Daddy said.

"I like people to look at me and then to look who I am with and go Wow!"
Picture of Mummy

The first picture Daddy saw of me and apparently he said Wow when he saw it.

I didn't know he felt that way about me. I don't feel that way about me so why should he? He followed it up with;

"You always took so much pride in your appearance, I don't know why you have given up."

I haven't given up! I always make sure that my clothes don't have sick or poop or food on them when I put them on. I always make sure that I don't wear navy shoes if I am wearing black and I have been known on occasion to wear make up. I haven't given up caring what I look like...

picture of Mummy with make up on

Me after work one day, on this day I did wear Navy shoes

Oh Crap. I have given up. Sure I make sure that the clothes I wear don't have sick or poop or food on them when I put them on in the morning, but I don't care if they make me look good or pretty. I don't care if they enhance my shape and flatter me or just cover my nakedness. I don't wear make up anymore and so I constantly look like someone who needs a few hours more sleep and time outside.

Picture of Mummy looking tanned and slim after her honeymoon with Daddy

The day we got back from our honeymoon, only a couple hours sleep yet I look fabulous right?

I want to look good. I want to wear pretty clothes that make me feel pretty, that make me look pretty. I don't want to make my husband think I have given up on myself

I think I just re-found the reason I need to lose weight.

So this week I weigh the same as last week (I'm 18st, 12lbs) and my plans for this week are;

Meal Plan

Breakfast: Bowl of Bran Flakes with semi-skimmed Milk and a slice of toast with marmalade (that I don't actually like that much but it needs to be eaten) and a small glass of milk.

Lunch: Sandwich with fruit or left overs from the night before.

Monday: Roast Beef and Trimmings (we ate the leftover Chinese yesterday)
Tuesday: Spaghetti Bolognese (smuggled veggies!)
Wednesday: Beef curry with rice (smuggled veggies!)
Thursday: Sausage pie (Top Ender and Baby Boy really like my pie)
Friday: Pizza (Yummy and helps prevent cancer!)
Saturday: Steak, mash and vegetable (plus if I can swing it peppercorn sauce)
Sunday: Roast Turkey and Trimmings

My Exercise routine is being shaken up this week with a 30 minute walk every week day, ten minutes doing weights, 15 minutes of dancing a day and an additional 30 minutes everyday following an online work out and an hour of general exercise outside at the gym in the park.

Monday, 14 September 2009

I haven't been late night snacking and I can prove it!

Last week the scales and I came to an agreement, if they show me weight loss, I carry on losing weight. We stayed up late chatting to each other, not eating the Ben and Jerry's that was in the freezer (I made Daddy eat it last night!) and giggling over our previous silly misunderstanding.

This morning I stood butt naked in my kitchen (it's where my scales live, I don't know why they aren't in my Bathroom or Bedroom, they just live in the kitchen okay?!) and waited for them to read out my weight.

I'm 18st, 12lbs!

Normally when Daddy is at work (now three nights a week) I tend to take a treat (or four) upstairs and watch TV in bed. I realised that this was very bad behaviour and now I have started treating myself to soppy romance films which I watch downstairs whilst exercising. It is great as it means that I get extra exercise each day and as long as I eat more at lunch and dinner then I don't feel a need to snack either!

My plans for this week are;

Meal Plan

Breakfast: Bowl of Bran Flakes with semi-skimmed Milk and a slice of toast with jam or marmalade and a small glass of milk (Top Ender needs to drink milk, so I am joining in).

Lunch: Sandwich with fruit or left overs from the night before.

Monday: Chicken and Noodles (yes we eat a lot of chicken in this house!)
Tuesday: Vegetable curry
Wednesday: Salmon and Pasta in creamy sauce
Thursday: Soup and cheese toasties
Friday: Sausage pie and vegetables
Saturday: Chinese take away
Sunday: Roast Beef and Trimmings

My Exercise routine is the same as last week with a 30 minute walk every week day, an hour on the wii every day, ten minutes doing weights, 15 minutes of dancing a day and an additional 30 minutes everyday following an online work out!

See you all next week!

I ♥ my Scales

The scales and I are friends this week.

I promised them, before I stood on them, that if they showed a weight loss I wouldn't stand on them again for a week.

I promised them, that if they showed a weight loss I would lose more weight in the next week so I wasn't as much of a strain on them.

I promised them, that if they showed a weight loss this week that I would give them a clean too.

The scales showed I had a weight loss this week of 2lbs.

I love my scales.Scales with a Heart shape on

Meal Plan

Breakfast: Bowl of Bran Flakes with semi-skimmed Milk and a slice of toast with jam
or marmalade and a small glass of milk (Top Ender needs to drink milk, so I am joining in).

Monday: Steak and Wedges (didn't have them Saturday as Daddy was ill) and Sweetcorn
Tuesday: Roast Chicken and Vegetables and Roast Potatoes

My Exercise routine is now in full swing with a 30 minute walk every week day, an hour on the wii every day, ten minutes doing weights, 15 minutes of dancing a day (the 15 minutes I challenged last week) and an additional 30 minutes everyday following an online work out!

Here's to continued success!
